[Military service] Served in the United States Air Force from March 1969 to March 1973. Basic training at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX; technical training school at Lowery AFB, Denver, CO.; permanent duty stationed with USAFE (United States Air Forces in Europe) at Torrejon Air Base, Madrid, Spain from August 1969 to March 1973. Attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. Specialty code - Material Facilities Specialist (64750). [Currently] Retired (4/18/2004) from the United States Postal Service as a city Letter Carrier after 38 years of federal service. Active in the National Association of Letter Carriers. An officer of the local letter carriers labor union for the better part of the last thirty years.
